I am a total carnivore, so thats said. Not just Vegan/Vegetarian fare. Hell of a rare house burger, tender lamb sliders, and amazing chicken. Gnocchi and risotto to die for. Totally ended up here by happenstance but have 0 regrets. 5 star on any comparison. I dont care if your fet is gluten free or whatever diet fad is this week, this place just has solid 3-4 star cuisine with a healthy edge and full flavor.

Comfortable small dining area with herbs growing in planter boxes near the windows. We had the guacamole appetizer. I ordered the watermelon feta salad with balsamic reduction and oil dressing. Food is good quality with fresh ingredients. Menu has many healthy options, which is important to me.
(5)Ashley D.
Maybe I ordered the wrong thing but I can't say I was impressed with my meal. I ordered the Palo bowl with shrimp, a half portion (which was plenty for dinner). I only ate about half of it because I lost interest half way through. Could've used more sauce and consistency in cooking. The best part was definitely the garlic herb shrimp. My fiancé got the burger which he didn't enjoy but he is a very picky eater. The burger was huge and he did enjoy the sweet potato chips. For an appetizer we had chips and guacamole which was very tasty. May or may not return, I didn't feel it was a very good value. I definitely like what they are trying to do with the healthy options but heathy food way be delicious too. Service was just okay, our waitress was slow even though we were her only table.

First time here. Had the Pur burger and it was amazing!!!!! Great flavor!!!! I will definitely go back for sure
(5)Annette E.
Great service and great food. It is so hard for vegetarians to find good food when dining out! This place was great!!
(5)Adrienne M.
This was our second time here. Great menu options, and great food. My only complaint is that the food lacks salt. We ordered the quinoa cakes, shrimp and polenta and both needed salt. Other than that, the sliders, sweet potato chips and potato puffs are out of the world!!!!!
(4)Kaylee W.
Absolutely love this place! The people are so genuine and sweet and the food is delicious. I have had the grilled veggie wrap and quinoa cakes; both were amazing! I am making it my mission to try everything on the menu :) Its great to have a healthy place like this in lake orion!
(5)nozmo K.
Good food with unique choices. Caters to health conscious eaters and vegetarians very well. A little bit pricey, but considering the food is mostly organic and unique, it's not too surprising
(4)Gwen D.
Really good food. Unbelievable selection. I have celiac. Going out to eat is not usually a relaxing event for me. There is so much fresh, homemade food on the menu, it was super easy choosing. The chef came out twice to check with me on my sensitivity to a couple of ingredients and wound up making me something completely custom. Delightfully fresh. Just go. Have the berry basil iced tea while you're waiting.
(5)Cheryl M.
We tried a little of everything. It was all great. Very unique menu. Great options. I would have given 5 stars, but the food was slow getting to us. It was lunch time and needs to be a bit quicker.

Fantastic! I grew up in Lake Orion and I am always having to travel to Rochester or other neighboring cities to find healthy but tasty options. But now I have to look to more, Pur Cuisine surely fit the bill. Don't be thrown off by all of the vegan and vegetarian options if you are a meat eater because you can add meat to any dish! Will definitely be going back there tons, hope the rest of the town does too so we can keep them around for a long time :)
(5)Francesca C.
This is a much needed restaurant in the Lake Orion area! Food is fresh, delicious and the menu includes vegan AND steak/burgers. Also kids menu! My kids loved it! The food is delicious! Best of all is great to see a chef who is concerned about food quality. Great casual atmosphere! Would give more stars if I could!!
(5)David G.
A super addition to a great area. Really tasty food and a friendly atmosphere. I can't wait to go back!

I had the Cajun shrimp polenta. So glad my friend showed me this place!! So good! Very friendly and fresh! I will be telling my clients and friends about this place!!

Went to eat dinner on 3/6/15 at Pur. I had a cup of asparagus leak soup, lamb sliders and sweet potato fries. The soup was served piping hot, strong pepper flavor, couldn't detect flavor of asparagus/leak. The lamb sliders were excellent, seasoned beautifully and cooked to medium rare. They were on grilled slider buns with tztatzki sauce, sliced cukes and tomato. Pur yumminess! The sweet potato fries were fine, served without condiment, the server suggested ketchup. I asked if the chef could whip up an aioli, she said she would ask. A few minutes later, she brought back a mixture of honey, lemon and parsley. My only criticism was the wait time. I was with my friend and there were no other customers. The wait for our entrees, she had the lamb tacos, was 30 minutes. The lamb tacos were hard to eat. The corn tortilla appeared soggy and she said the feta cheese was too strong. I tasted the lamb, feta and bean mixture and thought so too. Yes, I will be back.

I really really really wanted to love this place. I was excited to go to a place that had lots of clean organic veggie options or so it was billed. I didn't quite find it. Early dinner hour almost empty restaurant. The staff was friendly and informative but I simply found that the price for the food is not worth it. The decor is a strange mix of clean lines and farmish things. It used to me a thai place and its shape lends to a cafeteria or classroom. It's comfortable but still a bit sterile for the prices and food. My daughter ordered the kids mini burgers/sliders. That was fine. The sweet potato chips were yummy. My son ordered spaghetti with butter. His spaghetti was $7.95!! Really $8 for a bowl of spaghetti with melted butter off a kids menu? I asked what kinda bad of pasta they used because my original thought was if it was organic maybe, just maybe, that could justify the huge up charge. Nope, they use regular everyday semolina Durham wheat pasta. Since I do the shopping in my house I know you can get a box of regular spaghetti for .50 on sale. I buy organic on sale for $1. This was a plain ripoff and a disappointment for a place that boasts that they have Pur/clean food. Mango lemonade - not a kids drink at $4 with chunks of mango and greens floating around. This was a fancied drink that wasn't kid friendly and our other options? Yah, soda. Because coke is healthy!! The hubs and I split the Greek salad and an app of falafel. I start with the bad and end on a good note so you don't think it completely sucked! The falafel was dry and tough. You can get store bought frozen that taste much better and/or you could make it yourself. I would save that for a proper middle eastern restaurant if you choose to have someone else cook for you. The Greek salad was a pleasant surprise. Extremely tasty with golden beets to boot made it one of the better salads I've had in a while. Sigh, like I said. Wanted to love it but when the bill came to nearly $50 for a meal that wasn't fantastic, wasn't 100% organic I just don't see us stopping by to grab a healthy reasonably costing family meal.

Along the Orion/Oxford Magnificent Mile of fast food joints, Mexican restaurants, bar and grills, and medical centers is a new fresh restaurant. The place is a bit hard to find. Set back a bit with a funky font as a sign, you'd drive past if you aren't careful. It looks like it just opened. The dining room is casual with a long bench that sits along the long wall. 5 or 6 tables line up against the benches to make up the bulk of the seating. The menu is large and has a bit of a Mediterranean slant to it. I was in a hurry tonight needed dinner but didn't want the coney, KFC, or Wendy's as typical in this stretch of fast casual restaurants. I ordered the berry pineapple salad with steak. The steak was a nice portion of sliced sirloin. It's a fairly new restaurant that's trying to get it's footing. I'd say it's worth a try. It's different. It's good. And don't let the vegan label fool you. They have meat.
(4)Sara B.
This is a cute little place! Make sure you look hard for it though as they still only have the banner for their sign. The décor was a little artsy and cute with ladders and other things working as shelves on the wall to hold knick knacks. There were a few other people in the restaurant, but we were greeted and sat promptly. Our waitress was new, but very friendly and attentive, and brought us some heavenly thin crispy purple potato chips. They were delicious and not overly greasy or salty. I ordered a chicken tortilla soup and my man got the white bean chicken chili with a salad. When everything came to the table it tasted great! The soups were full of flavor and tasted very fresh. The salad had a delicious dressing and the greens and toppings were nice and crisp. The only problem we had with this place was the wait time. For soup and a salad we waited at least 30 min. I know they were training some new kitchen people because they told us so, but that seems like an awfully long time for such a simple order. Other than that everything else was great.
(4)Phil M.
Delicious, fresh, not too expensive. You can get carry-out Turkish coffee. What else does one need? I've been back two times now, and enjoyed both meals thoroughly. (I'd add a picture but I was so excited to dig in that I forgot to take one!) An extra bonus: If you are a Lake Orion resident, you're eligible for a 10% discount. Just ask.
(5)Reese S.
Wonderful food and wonderful staff. Lovely vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. We all enjoyed our dishes. Here's what we ordered: Cucumber Mint Spritzer: loved the taste and was amazed how healthy it was, and still delicious and flavorful. Black Bean Burger: Delicious. It was filling and the tzatziki side went well with it (I was surprised it was vegan!) The sweet potato fries were prime. Not sure if these were fried, but it would be a plus if they served baked sweet potato fries to make it a bit healthier. Mango Black Bean Salad: Really nice. It was served in a large bowl. The dressing felt really light and went well with the salad's contents. Nothing out of this world, but it was good. Quinoa Cakes: Quinoa paired with a tomato broth is brilliant. Served over polenta is both pleasant to the eyes and warming to the mouth. In my opinion, this was the best dish.

Edit: Now I'm really bummed that this place is closing! Ahmed offered to make me a meal to pick up after work yesterday - it was absolutely delicious! I got the Jerusalem Salad Wrap with garlic herb shrimp (delicious, I could only eat half) and sweet potato fries and siracha ketchup (the reason why I couldn't finish the wrap). He also threw in a piece of cashew cheesecake - I had to save that for dessert today - I'm really excited about it. All in all, really good food and a really, really nice business owner. I took his card for his catering business located in Bloomfield and will recommend him to my friends.

Pür cafe was acceptable. The guacamole was fairly tasty and went fast. My daughter had the lamb tacos which are a meal on their own, and are excellent. I ordered the walleye but they were out :-( So I had the Fresh Herb Encrusted Chicken. The risotto was very creamy and the carrots were an excellent change from the ordinary. My chicken breast was tough to cut with the supplied knife. A bit over cooked but still well seasoned. My wife had the Pür burger. It was good but kept squishing out from between the thin bun making it a slippery hold. The fresh sweet potato chips had a delicious crunch. My son ordered the steak sandwich. All of our food and his fries, came out except his sandwich. We were informed the steak had been overcooked and a new one was being prepared promptly. After a short wait it arrived. The meat was tough for him to thoroughly chew and get down. After two bites he was out so we took it home. Upon further inspection it was tough to take the strips of meat and pull them apart by hand. It either need to be more thinly cut or marinated longer. The service was prompt and attentive. We left full and well fed with some pretty tasty food overall. I would give them another try when in the area.

My GF stopped here one day on a recommendation and loved it. She then took me the next week. We both loved the food. She had grilled veggie wrap and I had the falafel wrap (both with sweet potato chips). The food was very good. Not too soggy or oily. A lot of stuffing in the wrap and the grilled wrap was done to perfection. Then we topped it off with cashew cheesecake. One of the best desserts I've had in my life. We talked with the owner, who was super nice. And had to meet the chef. He was knowledgeable and friendly and had a great vision for the menu. A casual place but 5 star quality food.

Great food, great location, and great service. I had the protein bowl with tofu and it was amazing. Highly recommended for a delicious lunch!!

Decided to try this new restaurant as the wife and I have been looking for a healthy option in Lake Orion since moving here from Royal Oak. Take out was fast, ready in 15 min and the owner was very friendly and appreciative. Food was very good to say the least! So much taste and healthy! Great combination of ingredients! Was worried when I saw Vegan and Vegetarian dishes, but most if not all give you the option to add steak or chicken. Fantastic for those of us who want to eat responsibly but still enjoy meat. Welcome to Lake Orion! We will definitely be regulars at this place!
(5)Alaina C.
Amazing food! I had the veggie wrap with chicken. The wrap is made from scratch and you can tell, very good. The veggies and chicken were perfectly cooked. I also had the asparagus leek soup which was also amazing. My favorite was the sweet potato chips! Now that is the only chip I crave. Owners are very friendly!
